Thanksgiving Meal!

For my Thanksgiving meal, I would love a big juicy ham! Most people like to eat turkey on Thanksgiving but I am not a big fan of turkey. I love ham though! It's a much better treat to me than turkey! I would also like to have some of my grandma's pumpkin pie on the table. She makes the best pumpkin pie ever! Usually I don't like pumpkin pie but there is just something about hers that makes it so good! Lastly, I would like to eat some deviled eggs! That is my specialty! Every year for Thanksgiving, I make about a dozen deviled eggs and they are really good to me. I like them a lot! If I had all these things for my Thanksgiving meal, it would be just perfect!

Veteran

If I could talk to a Veteran, I would tell him how honored I am to be talking to him. Someone who is willing to risk their own life to fight for our freeedom, that's amazing! I would ask him if he was ever in a war, but even if he wasn't he would still be willing to go. Finally I would shake his hand and tell him "thank you for serving."

I am thankful for....

I am thankful for my family. They are always there for me when I need them and some people might not have a mom or a dad but I have all of the family I need. I am also thankful for my pets. They make my life fun and interesting. I love to play with my dogs when I get home and they always seem to be waitning for me. I am also thankful for my food. My family is very fortunate to have the money we need to buy food and a nice home. I am thankful to live in the U.S.A where I am free and to know someone out there is fighting for me. I get to go to the church that I want to and shop where I please. Lastly, I am thankful for my memories of Britney Lipsey. She was like a sister to me when I was a little girl. She died in a car accident when she was 20 and I am very fortunate to have some memories of her still with me. I will never forget her and she will always be in my heart. I am thankful for all of these things because they will always be with me no matter what happens.
